Paint was used for many occasions to try and edit pictures simply before putting them onto a more advanced programme and just to make templates and put idea's down as planning.
The File button that is open in the screen capture gives you lots of options that are easy and need to be used. Such as open when I have to click on this to find the image I want to edit. Obviously the save buttons are the most important as this is how we keep our work. As I found, paint doesn't have an auto save option so you can loose work.

To the left I have hovered over the image button at the top of Paint to show some more advanced options that I had to get used to to make our ideas creative and fun.

These I wasn't very comfortable with before I started my coursework but now I can use them comfortably and easily to enhance the quality of my work. You can turn pictures and skew them meaning they are offset and look more art deco which is what our digi pack is going for or you can invert the colours and after doing this you can change to other colours. Or 'Draw Opaque' which came useful was making a drawing clear so the background can be seen through which makes it look a lot more professional.

Opposite I have demonstrated how to change something on paint. I have placed a skull we created on photo shop onto a red background. At the moment it looks tacky and strange, however when you highlight the image you want to change and click the button I have indicated with an arrow it makes the white background match with the background you have set. This then looks much better.

This is how I created the effect on our CD cover of our digi pack.
